Team Build Program
UVHFH hosts teams of 6-8 individuals per day on our construction site to work together, build camaraderie, develop strong ties & give back to your community. We provide lunch, tools, materials, and construction oversight. Volunteers must be 18+. No previous experience needed and all abilities welcome. Volunteers are expected on the worksite at 9am and the build day ends at 4:00pm.
The Team Build Program encourages a donation of $100 per employee to cover supervisor and material costs. Donations are voluntary but highly appreciated. Donations can be made on our online donation page (preferred) or by mailing a check to our office.

Available ‘work days’ for the Team Build Program can be found on our Volunteer portal. Please review the ‘work day’ available dates and once you’ve chosen the date you’d like to reserve, email info@uvhabitat.org with your company name and preferred date. Once we receive your company’s donation, we will officially reserve that date and email your team sign up instructions on VolunteerUp that allows your 6-8 team members to sign up for your reserved Team Build Day.
Cancellation policy: we greatly appreciate it when businesses can attend their reserved days, as it allows us to plan work for the volunteers we know will be in attendance and it is difficult to fill volunteer slots on short notice. However, if your team faces an unavoidable conflict, we will work with you to reschedule up to two weeks before your scheduled build day. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate rescheduling less than two weeks before your scheduled build day.
